In this work we investigate the motivation and engagement of b-0665-cr-bstr students from two classes of middle school in two public schools (urban and rural) in Inquiry Based Science Learning activity.For the collection of data we use video recordings and material produced by students.For analysis and organization of data, we chose content analysis and categorizations using theoretical references to levels of engagement (behavioral, emotional and cognitive) and the factors of engagement (vigor, dedication, absorption).Our results show that activities in the approach of Inquiry Based Science Learning are potentially capable of motivating to 5x4x3 box promote students in different levels and factors of engagement.
